Early November, we launched a competition whereby the most disruptive or creative photos you could post would win five midem 2013 passes; “Disruptive Creativity” being the theme of next Visionary Monday’s conferences. The first of our five lucky winners is Côme Trémeau, who took to the water in Lyon, France, to ’emerge’ from a flower… with a midem logo round his neck! Apparently it was very cold too, so extra kudos for bravery
Will Clark also notched up bonus points, this time by submitting for two midem competitions at once! The above image, about “Disruptive Visual Language” in music, also illustrates his submission for our “Speak at midem” competition. A great double whammy!
Arguably the competition’s most creative submission was by Ching-Wei Chen, whose bucolic “Soundscape” photo bears more than a passing resemblance to a soundwave, à la Soundcloud. N’est-ce pas?
The first of our guitar-focused winners comes from John Puzzle, who came up with this novel idea: a guitar that plays vinyl! Disruptive, creative: but really that handy…?
Last but by no means least, artists Michelle Phelan took a pair of scissors to a particularly gorgeous-looking guitar, asking in her tweet “is this disruptive enough?” Our answer: a resounding YES! Especially if Michelle followed through…
