To kick off Midem by Night Day 2, Prateek Kuhad, Adian Coker, and Shakka – all finalists in the Midem Artist Accelerator programme – took to Stage 1 to showcase their talent. Meanwhile, on Stage 2, Chile was in the spotlight with Miss Garrison + De Monaco, Lola Marsh and Mongoose X Sliscobars. The renowned Haitian rapper and producer, Wyclef Jean, closed the evening with a wild and energetic performance.
First up among the Midem Artist Accelerators was Prateek Kuhad, with buttery soft vocals and sweet melodies – alone on stage with his piano and electric and acoustic guitar:

The last Midem Artist Accelerator to hit the stage was Shakka, a brilliant RnB Soul artist from Britain:

To end with a bang, Wyclef Jean gave a wild performance; at some point even scaling the side of the stage while rapping! He did a few covers, including the Fugees-inspired version of No Woman No Cry by Bob Marley:
