The man of the hour on the third day of this year’s vibrant Midem was easily Scooter Braun, who nabbed the first-ever Midem Hall of Fame Award at the Midem Music Awards launch event last night. Braun, who manages a list of Who’s Who among today’s international mega hitmakers (think of Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen, among others) was honoured for his innovative approach to talent management in the 21st century.
Scooter Braun was moved to share his experiences at the first Midem Hall of Fame Awards.
“When I was 25, I was living month to month. I broke down on the phone with my father. He said you’ve come this far, see it through. Then we got a publishing deal that saved our company. Every day you try, you’re that much closer to succeeding” @scooterbraun #midem #musicawards pic.twitter.com/uG1bTaIwVc
